A voice of late twenties ,
Had giggles and cherpies ,
That round face,
With scared eyes
When I met them from where I arise.
She could laugh out loud,
So her sorrows and pain is hidden,
A voice of a girl
She was in hiding,
Hiding from a monster,
Whom she had once loved,
A mother of two ,
Staying away for good,
Living herein as a helper,
Smiled all day and night,
A voice of a young mother
Had you see,
You would say, "How beautifully she flies"
But not for long,
One day turns the table ,
Overruled months of happiness
A voice so low,
"The scum has come, "said one among the helpers
Poor girl covered in herself,
She knew this day would come,
She knew this all along,
Had this day come so fast?
He said "I am back from prison "
A voice in mute
The lady of the house restricted the poise
She called for the girl, told her, "distance"
He was clever enough,
As he saw her coming, he went on his knees
And begged for an apology,
The girl took a few steps, not realising,
Now an arm length was the distance,
She is weeping,
When he took her hand,
dragged her close,
Her endeavors to release
Were all a failure
The lady of the house held her hand,
Who is bold and brave, Still couldn't stand the man rushed in a rave,
Voice needed help
He was brutal and harsh,
His hand surrounds her hair,
He took her faster than you could say sabotage,
A voice cried
Without delay,
Cops were called,
An advocate was coordinated,
A hardcore feminist,
A neighbor felt some chaos,
Learning absence of menfolk,
He came in for help
A voice of strength and hope
Cops were here,
Rather a cop was here,
Helper narrated the scene,
He enquired vague questions,
Lady cried, "go, else she will die "
Cop concluded "ma'am not under our area,
Report elsewhere "
This insensitive man took oath for protection,
Here's a salute!
Is he involved?
A voice was shut
Her pain was imagined,
All lighting was on her that morning,
That powerless creature
A voice in pain
Advocate and the neighbor,
Who had gone in search,
Came back with a child,
after a while, Said in woe,"
Her children and in-laws refuses to help"
Child cried her characterless,
How does he even know that?
Understood, He is blackmailed
A voice with no help
No evidence ,no case,
Advocate spoke,
Lady don't rage wars
Let her go,
He vanished her into the air,
A voice but no law
lady stood astound,
was helpless,
Felt insecure,
Felt guilty,
Mighty her voice,
Hears a pedestrian,
If she is alive
Otherwise, a hope she Rests in peace
A VOICE HEARD NO MORE
